Arrowmen, are you an OA Troop Representative? If you answered yes, then it’s time to mobilize! If you’re not one or you’re an adult in your Unit, we can still use your help! One of the foremost duties as Arrowmen is camp promotions.
This year, Camp Old Indian is celebrating its 90th anniversary and we’re expecting the largest and most action-packed summer yet.
During the month of May, we challenge you as an Arrowman in your Unit to get the word out about the awesome things happening at COI this year. From our new ATV course and the return of our High Adventure program to new thrilling opportunities like paddle boarding and visiting the Callahan frontier village, there’s no limit to what COI can offer! In addition to this, our legendary lakeside Thursday night callout that so many of you missed will return this year for our newest Ordeal candidates!
There are multiple flyers for you to distribute to your brothers in your Troop. The Lodge and the Blue Ridge Council are relying on our Troop Reps and every single Arrowman in the Council Units to take up the challenge of filling up our beloved camp with scouts this summer. If this is truly going to be the biggest summer ever, we need your world-famous, Section SR-5 champion AKK spirit and enthusiasm to promote!
With excitement for the summer,
Ben Rosenberger
Lodge Chief / Camp Old Indian Scoutcraft Director
Matthew Watson
SR-5 Section Chief / Camp Old Indian Camp Commissioner
