Brothers, I’m very excited to say that we’re almost a week away from our Lodge Leadership and Development conference and Winter Banquet! Here is a some information about both of them. The LLD begins Saturday January 30th at 8:30am at Buncombe Street United Methodist Church in Greenville.
We will meet upstairs in the Troop 9 Scout Hut as always. The cost is only $5 and there is no late fee! Make sure you invite all of your Chapter members because the Chapter with the highest percentage of active members present will receive a prize. David Romba, our Vice Chief of Administration, is preparing a bunch of great Minute to Win It games and competitions that will be taking place in between each of the training sessions. Each table in the room will send someone to compete in each game. If your table has the most wins at the end of the day, you will have access to an Ice Cream Sunday bar where you can make a Sunday for yourself. So be ready to slay the competition for some sweets.
Our Winter Banquet begins later that evening at 6:00pm in the Buncombe Street United Methodist Church as well. I am excited to welcome our newly elected 2016 Southern Region Chief, Jeffrey Sedlacek, as our keynote speaker. I cannot wait to hear what he has to share with us. We will also be presenting many significant awards that you don’t want to miss. Come prepared for a great meal of steak, shrimp and sides.
