10492443_757242241023865_269642923271879595_nHello Arrowmen, I believe that this past weekend was a success! I would like to express how grateful I am for all the arrowmen who came out and showed appreciation for the AIA team. So thank you all!

We had a pretty decent turn out and I think the boys did an outstanding job learning the dances that we had to perform. Now I realize this is short notice but I’m strongly encouraging that anyone wishing to be apart of the AIA team should come with us to Haygood Mill this weekend on Saturday November 21st. 138 Haygood Mill road, Pickens. Go to www.visitpickenscounty.com for location and directions. It is off of highway 178 north of Pickens. For those who don’t know what it is, it is a festival that shows the historical culture of the Cherokee nation. We need as many people to attend this as possible we will be having a booth set up and we would like to have as many boys in regalia as possible. Those of you who didn’t get a chance to come up to the AIA weekend and want to be on the drum team I will have CD’s with me to give out to you to practice.

However if you don’t plan on being on the AIA team I strongly encourage that you go to camp this weekend and help Peter Tillman, our VCI, with some trail work. Thank you all for taking the time to read this and I hope to see you all there! For any questions contact me at akk185vcaia@gmail.com.

in brotherhood,
Jake Rice
